Tanzania Mbozi Peaberry – 10 oz

This coffee is a blend of peaberries from smallholder farmers from various villages and washing stations in Tanzania’s southern highlands. Most farmers in this region grow a few different cultivars, including N39 and KP423, varieties specific to Tanzania. Farmers in this region typically harvest coffee in the morning and deliver their cherries in the afternoon. Lots are de-pulped and prepared for fermentation from this point all the way to midnight. After grading, they are then separated into different channels where they will head to soaking tanks for 10–12 hours. After being washed clean of mucilage, they are spread out to dry for 9–14 days.

Cupping Notes: Balanced and sweet with tart, citric acidity, caramel, grape and chocolate flavors.
