Guatemala Xinabajul Peaberry – 10 oz


This selection is provided by many small-holders in the Huehuetenango highlands, recognized as Guatemala’s premier coffee growing region. These smaller beans, known as peaberries, are a mutation where one of two seeds inside the cherry dies off, leaving a single round-shaped bean.

This peaberry has molasses- and sugar browning-like sweetness and hints of dried fruit. Bittersweet roasted cacao nib lies beneath the surface with raisin and black currant coming through as the cup cools. Body is dense with dark cocoa serving as the base.
