China Menglian Dongka – 10 oz


This Dongka is produced at 400 tons per harvest, a large volume and some of the most consistent specialty grade washed coffee in the Menglian region of Yunnan.

The wash station is owned and operated by Mrs. Na. She buys all her cherries from the mountain farms surrounding the wash station and purchases the same crops every harvest.

About 4 years ago, Mrs. Na made improvements resulting in an increase of volume, quality, and consistency.

Harvest is from November to February. Dongka grows at 1400 MASL. Catimor is the varietal and the coffees are washed and pulped and then fermented for 12-18 hours. This is followed by patio drying for about 10 days.

Cupping Notes: Raisin sweetness, citric acidity, black tea
